It all began with an excess of scotch bonnet chillies grown at home that were soon turned into Red Pepper and Chilli jam. It was a hit with family and friends and slowly other varieties and especially Bewdston Original, were added to the range. Bewdston Original features a fusion of dates, prunes and apricots that sits very comfortably on the cheeseboard or a platter of charcuterie. Only the freshest high quality ingredients sourced locally are used, wherever possible. All of the varieties are 100% homemade in small batches by the Chief Stirrer at home in the Wyre Forest. The chutneys and pickles mature beautifully in the jar and should be used within 4 weeks once opened - if it lasts that long!
